So … Ive been getting lazier and lazier at doing this :) Lets just recap quicklyy this month!
The week Heidi was here :) We went to the zoo of course we shoppped and then the weekend came! Friday and Saturday nights we headed downtown for a night of free bars and a lot of dancing. Can´t say I remember the nights so well to describe them to you … not because of the alcohol but because it was like 4 weeks ago!
The weekend after me and Alfa had to take a little break :) so we had a cozy night Friday as we made homemade gucamole and watched jersey shore … of course. Saturday we went to dinner at Alfas uncles house. We had a DELICIOUS steak from iceland, brown sauce, potatoes and of course ice cream and candy as a desert. We agreed to babysit their kids for the night after having that amazing dinner and letting them go out.
Well I have to say I had the first fun and successful valentines day :) as my favorite boyss Tejs and Jermaine invited us over, cooked dinner for us, served us wine, had desert and then invited us out to a café after.
That week I was home alone! My family went away to France for a skiing trip. They said that I could have came but they had ordered the ticket before they knew I would be staying with them for a year. No hard feelings … I loved having the house for myself although I didnt use it as much as I should had. I slept at Alfas everynight of the week and helped her babysit her kids in the morning and afternoons.
Thursday we were invited to a party with an old friend of Alfas from her old soccer days. There we met a lot of new people, we went downtown afterwards and had a blast! What a great night. I wount tell you guys about the morning after .. but lets just say I hope I never have that experience that again!
Fun story about that morning though … As I was speed biking my way to Alfas I by accident drove into a car, fell and face planted. The car was red … and it was parked. How I managed that. I realllyy could not tell you! Yay for me … I had to bike back with ripped pants and two huge blood stains on my pants. Classy !!
Friday we took it easy as we just played games and drank with 3 of our friends. After only receiving 2 hours of sleep the night before It was much needed for me to get a goodnight sleep.
Saturday we were invited to Samiha´s 18year old birthday party. Tejs, Jermaine, Alfa and I got her a great gift all together. There were atleast 80 people there, it was a blast. So much fun!
Last week it was back to work and School! Everyone knows what a Monday feels like after a week of break and partying. Not cool … whatsoever. I made the best of it though
Last Saturday me and Alfa tried out a new bar called Billy Booze the discount bar of Copenhagen. I met an Icelandic guy .. haha that was funny. It was a small place but yet again so much fun! Another successful night a la Sæunn og Alfa!
Payday is today!

Heiður ósk called me monday night to ask if it was okay for her to fly over to Copenhagen later and come Tuesday morning. NO PROBLEM OF COURSE!! After School I took the metro all the way to the airport and waited for Heiður´s arrival. Still in shock and disbelieve … as she came out of the terminal I was still in shock and disbelieve. I just couldnt believe she was her in Copenhagen.
Her first night here(tue), Alfa came over after work. We walked down to the Kiosk(little shop, sjoppa) bought ourself chips, candy and chocolate for the perfect cozynight. We watched blackswan … not really sure how I feel about it. I am still deciding if I think its absolutely incredible … or just really horrible and mind twisting.
Mathias has some virus .. I don´t know the name of it. It starts out as a blister, kinda. Then it turns into a big cut. He says its not painful but it looks awful. It is also very contagious .. and now Liva Marie has it. She can´t go to school .. yay. I am washing my hands every 2 seconds
Wednesday Liva Marie, Heiður and I went to the Zoo because Liva actually isn’t sick she just cant go because of the skin virus she has … so somehow I have to drain out all that energy the little girl has. For most of the time I think I was more excited about the animals then Liva ever was. Now I have 2 new favorite animals. LAMAS !!! and Kangaroos, they are sooo cute ! Absolutely to die for.
Wednesday night Alfa, Heidi and I went to dinner. A restaurant name La Presidente on the Stroget. It was a great place. It had everything !! I of course got myself sushi, YUMMYYY!! Heidi and Alfa got a chicken burger. When walking back to our bikes … we decided to take a look into a Kareoke bar, Sam´s bar. So much fun. I sang AM to PM by Christina Millian and Sometimes by Britney Spears! Of course :)
We got big plans for the weekend … It can´t come soon enough.

Excuse my laziness to blog :/ Actually I have not been lazy I just really havent had the time to blog. I actually should be going to the gym .. but because I like to think so many people read this I am going to blog for you people <3
I am going to try to make the stories short and just point out the main adventures from the last 2 weeks.
Friday(JAN21) Me and Alfa very happily were off work. Our plan was to find a cute caffé sit down and go back and watch a nice movie and rest for Saturday. As we were walking the Stroget with our beers in my gloves plans changed drastically as girls on the Stroget were handing out fliers to go to a club called K-3. FREE SHOTS changed everything ! Amazing night. We were both wearing winter boots and bumm clothes. Its so true its always the unplanned things that end up being so much fun!
Saturday night(JAN22) me and Alfa were invited to a dinner at her family’s house. We picked up my other suitcase from Sigga Lára who brought it from Iceland for me. I finally have my heels <3<3 so happy !! It was a wonderful evening. They had my favorite. Fajitas, it was a very very nice change from the everyday fish and organic meals in this house! We then got ready at her cousin Silja´s apartment in Frederiksberg(where I live). We ended up going to a club called INN for yet another great Saturday night. It was a huge “disko” I think it was atleast on 3 floors .. with different giant rooms all with different music.
I started Danish school Monday morning. It is 4x a week for 3 hours. I like having something to wake up for and having a plan for the day. School is going well and I am very proud of myself of how much I actually understand. I really like it. There are about 10 people in my class. 3 Pakistanians, 1 English, 1 Portuguese, 1 Polish, 1 from Trinidad and those are all the people I remember. It is a very small class .. but I know I will learn a lot from that class. So excited for all the blahblahh around me will all make sense!
Every Monday night now I will be cooking dinner for the family and the first dinner was very successful. Even though I know I will never be a home staying mom I know I would be really goood !! My cooking is getting better and better. I do laundry every day, make my bed every morning, clean my bathroom and room every monday until its sparkling clean!
A much failed movie trip happened when me and Alfa wanted to go see “Black Swan” .. not only did we come late for what we thought the show time was but the movie theater was just completely closed. We ended up sitting down at a nice caffé having coffee and cake.
Yumm !! Want that chocolate cake now !!
For the last 3 weeks I have been on a very very hard search for a good winter jacket. Since its just as cold in New York and unlike New York where I spend most of my time indoors … and transport my self with a car here I ride my bike everywhere, walk or take the metro. Finally Saturday me and Alfa found the perfect jacket!
So warm !! I feel like im bundled up in a sleeping bag. Its heavenly !
Friday night Alfa was invited to a little party in her old town Amager so of course we went. It was a party of 10 boys, me and Alfa. It ended up being a great great time. We played card games and ended up going downtown. I danced so much that my feet were throbbing on my way home.
Saturday was another successful night. We got ready at my house and went out with Samihaa, Alfas friend! Not in the moood to write about my life anymoree ! wanna go to the gym and burn some calories awayy <3
Heiður is coming to visit me in Denmark tomorrow :) me and Alfa will be going to the airport right after my school is over
I am going to be better with blogging and do it more often and keep it shorter.

2nd week :)
Entire last week little Liva was sick. Even though she may be the cutest “nugget” ever. She sure can be a royal pain in the ass … this was stuck in my head all week ” jeg savner min mor” (i miss my mom). Poor thing had a high fever all week and did not stop coughing. First 2 days the girl refused to sleep at night or take naps at all and was quite cranky the 3rd day where as she slept most of thursday and friday. Thank god :) Well at least I watched bambi 20 times. Lion King the second movie 50 time and Hjælp Jeg er Fisk(“Help I am a fish”) 80 times. For everyone that knows me … they understand how annoyed I must be since I do not re watch movies. Ever.
Friday I got off early since I had been with Liva since 8 in the morning. That was nice. I took a much needed nap to prepare my self for the weekend. Took a quick jog .. of course. I met up with Alfa and her friend Samiha at the TIVOLI (carnival/theme park) and walked together to the Stroget to go out for dinner. Alfa wanted me to try Kebab. Kebab must exist somewhere in New York … but god why did I never try it backk in New York! Kebab was goood !!! Even though seeing the meat ready on the sticks .. ( picture underneath) I wasnt exactly as excited then but It was great!! Me and Alfa decided to take it easy that night and we watched TV and went early to bed.
Saturday morning we woke up early to go to the gym. I am so proud of my self, I have been going to the gym almost every day of the week! Atleast 5-6 times a week! Me and Alfa got the whole METRO (subway) system down as well as the bus system which is great. The bus stop is only a block away for me to walk and then only 10 minutes to Alfa´s house!
I could not believe my own eyes when I walked down to the Metro (subways) it was soooo clean … and of course all modern design. You could never compare it to the subways in New York. When going on the train .. I thought I was literally in a space ship. Pretty cool !
Saturday night … oh lordy sure was fun!! We decided to save money and eat home. Jeanne and Petur(they people i live with) went out to a friends house that night and Liva and Mathias went to their grandparents so me and Alfa had the house for ourselves. We made ourselves pretty at my house and went downtown. What a great great timeeeee !!
It also only took me one weekend to find my self a nice cute danish boy :)
Sunday we or I should say I explored Amager, the old town Alfa used to live in. She showed me where she used to live and her old school. We went to her old friends apartment where we played cards and had a nice Sunday evening.
Today I biked over to Alfa´s which only took me 20 minutes. Todaay I tried pizza with some meat on it … I think it was just thin cut steak .. who knows. Then they put a lot of lettuce a top of it a long with some sauce. It was deliciousss !! Muy bueno.
Plan is to try out the swimming pool near my house tomorrow with Alfa :)
I am still loving Denmmark just as much as beforee :) So until next time much love ;*
